Differences in the normally distributed continuous variables were compared using an independent sample t test, and those in the nonnormally distributed data were compared using the Mann–Whitney U rank sum test. The χ2 test was used to compare the between-group differences in the categorical variables. The p values are derived from comparing the HFpEF plus HFmrEF group with the HFrEF group. A p value < 0.05 was considered indicative of statistical significance
