Plasma MORT and of miR-93 expression was also altered in MI patients. RT-qPCR was performed to analyse the levels of MORT and miR-93 in plasma from both MI patients and healthy controls. RT-qPCR results showed that MORT expression levels were significantly higher (a), while levels of miR-93 were significantly lower (b) in plasma of MI patients (*, p < 0.05)
