Plasma levels of MORT and miR-93 were largely consistent with expression levels of MORT and miR-93 in heart tissue in MI mice. Correlations between plasma levels of MORT and miR-93 and their levels in heart tissues were analysed by linear regression analysis. It was observed that plasma levels of MORT (a) and miR-93 (b) were significantly and positively correlated with expression levels of MORT and miR-93 in heart tissue in MI mice
