Cell proliferation The number of Both EC and SMC increased at all time points after ACF as compared to controls as shown in the representative panels Ctrl to 8W (HE staining). In panels BrdU A and B, BrdU incorporated nuclei were stained dark blue and all other nuclei were counter stained pink by fast red. There was no detection in sham control (BrdU A). However, the detection (indicated by white arrowheads) was significantly higher at 1 week (BrdU B).
