  1. Echo measurements obtained under 1.5% isoflurane anesthesia. LV left ventricle, EDD end-diastolic diameter, ESD end-systolic diameter, EF ejection fraction and RWT relative wall thickness. Animal daily food intake (kCal/day) and plasma levels of glucose, triglycerides, insulin, leptin and adiponectin plasma levels were estimated in animals sacrificed at 60 days post-AR. a: p < 0.001 versus sham groups, b: p < 0.01 vs. control diet groups and c: p < 0.01 vs. corresponding AR group by Bonferroni post-test. HF: high-fat diet.
