Overview of the current and future applications of human iPSCs technology in the research for large-vessels stroke (LVS) and small vessel diseases (SVD) to develop relevant vascular models, made of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMC), endothelial cells (ECs) and brain microvascular endothelial cells (BMEC) to model the disease ‘in a dish’ and identify new therapeutic targets for future treatments of stroke.
