Suprasternal long-axis view with the transducer rotated and oriented to the right scapular tip (simultaneous 2-dimensional [a] and color flow Doppler [b] recordings) revealed right aortic arch without residual ductal shunting, but part of the coil was extruded into the bifurcation of the main pulmonary artery, in addition to the high-velocity mosaic pulmonary flow jet resulting from the previously performed pulmonary artery banding. It also showed the high-velocity pulmonary flow jet hit the extruded coil.
