Streamline images of diastolic LV vortex before and a week after ASA. Diastolic LV vortex flow was observed in the left lateral view of the heart. Typically, the anterior vortex (white circle) appeared at the basal LV before ASA (a), which grew and became larger after ASA (b). The posterior vortex (white arrow) was visualized just below the LV inflow at the basal LV (a). In contrast, systolic LV vortex flow was observed in the anterior view of the heart.
