LVEF and LVGLS distribution and their correlation with overall mortality. Distribution of LVEF (a) and LVGLS (b) as a function of predefined intervals demonstrated that the majority of patients had preserved LVEF but impaired LVGLS. There was a significant correlation between mortality and LVEF (c + e) as well as LVGLS (d + f), and the latter reached highest statistical significance
