Pituitary MRI at admission showed an enlarged pituitary gland with heterogenous high signal on coronal T2 weighted image (Fig. 2a) and central low signal with peripheral rim enhancement on post contrast T1 weighted coronal (Fig. 2b) and sagittal (Fig. 2c) images causing mild compression on the optic chiasm, which is suggestive of acute pituitary apoplexy
