The rats were fed with distilled water and ordinary fodder. Rats in Group B were fed with distilled water containing 75 mg/L NaAsO₂ and ordinary fodder. Those in Group C, D, and E were fed with distilled water containing 75 mg/L NaAsO₂ and fodder containing 0.53 mg/kg, 5.3 mg/kg, and 10.6 mg/kg folic acid respectively
