Kaplan–Meier curves (a) and risk stratification curves (b) for the development of HF in high- and low-ECV groups of ESRD patients. Kaplan–Meier curves showed that the high-ECV group had a shorter median survival time than the low-ECV group (18 months vs. 20 months; log-rank p = 0.046).
