HRS treatment reduced p-STAT3 levels in the left ventricle tissue. Western blotting analyses were performed on lysates from left ventricular tissues to assay p-STAT3. Compared with the sham-operated rats, the p-STAT3 expression levels in the AAC-treated rat hearts were significantly increased, which were prevented with treatment of HRS of 3 or 6 ml/kg
