The temporal evolution of the electrical behavior of a 3D model of the human myocardium, which contains cleavage planes, stimulated with ± 0.2 V monophasic electrical signal is shown. Ring electrodes were used. For an easier visualization of the variation of V m along the axis of interest (z axis, measured in voxels) a slice of the cardiac tissue (middle of y axis) is presented. Because of symmetry reasons all the planes intersecting the y axis give the same information. The cardiac behavior at certain moments (A) 10 ms, B) 40 ms, C) 240 ms, D) 470 ms) after the electrical stimulation is reflected.
