The table shows at 8 and 12 weeks of age, there was no significant difference in left ventricular radial strain and circumferential strain between db/db mice and age-matched controls (P > 0.05). At 16 weeks of age, radial strain and circumferential strain in db/db mice were lower than in control mice (P < 0.01).
