Heart hypertrophy is worsened by feeding AR rats with high-fat (HF) diet. Evolution of the body weight (A) and retroperitoneal fat deposit weight (B) was evaluated at 2 and 7 months. Heart weight (C) and indexed heart weight (D; for tibial length). Results are reported as mean ± SEM. Two-way ANOVA analyses. ***: p < 0.001 versus sham-operated animals.
